According to a source, the mishap occurred at one Sheikh Bhallu’s house. The cylinder caught fire when his wife was cooking food in the evening.
In the mishap, Bhallu’s 40-day-old infant died on the spot while the couple, their second daughter and another person were injured critically. Hearing the sound, neighbours came to the family’s rescue.
