The Vampire Dies in No Time Author Pens Manga of Needy Streamer Overload Game
The official Twitter account for Akita Shoten‘s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine revealed on Wednesday that manga creator Itaru Bonnoki will launch a manga adaptation of Xemono’s Needy Streamer Overload titled Needy Girl Overdose: Run with My Sick (the manga uses the game’s original Japanese title) on Akita Shoten‘s Manga Cross website on March 21. Nata Ōkura is drawing the manga.
WSS Playground and Xemono released the game simultaneously in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean on PC via Steam in January 2022, with the title Needy Streamer Overload in English, and it describes the game:
NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD is a “multi-ending ADV” depicting daily life with “OMGkawaiiAngel”, a young girl with a rather extreme need for approval attempting to become the #1 “Internet Angel” (streamer). Gradually build up OMGkawaiiAngel’s number of followers as she spends her days streaming, using various ”stress relievers”, and generally being kinda messed up. Experience all the different crazy ups and downs and find out for yourself whether this story is even capable of having a happy ending.
Bonnoki launched the The Vampire Dies in No Time (Kyūketsuki Sugu Shinu) manga in Weekly Shōnen Champion in June 2015. Akita Shoten published the manga’s 24th compiled book volume on February 8. The manga will go on a one-month hiatus from March 30 to April 27, and will resume on May 11.
The manga is inspiring a television anime adaptation. The first season premiered in Japan in October 2021 and Funimation streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. The first season had 12 episodes. The second season premiered on January 9 and is ongoing. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Disney Senior Dubbing Manager: Heavenly Delusion Anime to Get Simulcast in U.S.
Disney’s senior manager of English dubbing Reuben Lack stated on Twitter on Monday that the television anime adaptation of Masakazu Ishiguro‘s Heavenly Delusion (Tengoku Dai Makyō) manga will get a simulcast in the U.S. The anime will stream on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ worldwide. Lack added that the anime will get an English dub at a later date.
The anime will stream exclusively on Disney+ worldwide on April 1, and will air in Japan on Tokyo MX, Hokkaido TV, RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, TV Aichi, MBS, and BS11.
The anime stars:
Hirotaka Mori (episode director for Joker Game, unit director for Psycho-Pass film) is directing the anime at Production I.G. Makoto Fukami (Psycho-Pass, School-Live!) is overseeing the series scripts, and Utsushita of Minakata Laboratory is the character designer. kensuke ushio (Space Dandy, A Silent Voice, Chainsaw Man) is composing the music.
BiSH is performing the opening theme song “innocent arrogance,” and ASOBI is performing the ending theme song “Daremo Karemo Dokomo Nanimo Shiranai” (I Don’t Know Anyone Anywhere Anything).
Denpa is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:
Within the safety of the walls, youths are raised in a nursery-style setting by robots. While life there may appear stale on the surface, the children are full of potential and curiosity. In many ways it is like a slice of heaven. The outside world is a hell-scape. It is almost entirely void of anything mechanical and is now inhabited by bizarre, yet powerful super-natural beings.
Maru, with the aid of Kiruko, is out there crisscrossing what was once Tokyo for heaven. But after searching for so long, maybe heaven is more of an untenable dream than a potential reality.
Ishiguro (And Yet the Town Moves) launched the ongoing manga in Kodansha‘s Afternoon magazine in January 2018. The manga had an animated promotional video to commemorate the first volume’s release in July 2018. The manga topped the list of manga for male readers in the 2019 edition of Takarajimasha‘s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook.
