Romance manga about 4 retirement-age men launched in June 2021

The April issue of Kodansha‘s Kiss magazine revealed on Saturday that Natsume Ono will end the Bokura ga Koi wo Shita no wa (Us Falling in Love Is) manga in the magazine’s May issue on March 25.
Ono launched the manga in Kiss in June 2021. Kodansha published the third volume on November 11.
The manga tells the story of four men of retirement age who live a country life deep in the mountains. One day, a mysterious woman appears in the town, and each of the men are gradually charmed by her.
Since she made her debut in 2003 with La Quinta Camera – 5 Banme no Heya, Ono’s works have included House of Five Leaves, Ristorante Paradiso, Gente – Ristorante no Hitobito, Tesoro, and Not Simple. Viz Media is publishing all of these titles in North America. Yen Press is releasing ACCA 13-Ku Kansatsu-Ka. Kodansha Comics also published Ono’s Danza manga in English.
Ristorante Paradiso, House of Five Leaves, and ACCA 13 have all inspired late-night television anime series. Ono’s Futagashira manga inspired a live-action drama in 2015.
Ono launched the The Gamesters manga in March 2022.

The official website for the 3D CG anime of Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi‘s Ultraman manga unveiled a new cast member, the May 11 worldwide Netflix debut, and a new visual for the anime on Friday.

Hideaki Tezuka voices the character Daisuke Arashi (seen above), a former colleague of Hayata in the Science Special Search Party (SSSP).
M.A.O and Kōji Ishii join the cast as the characters Balkyua and Mephisto, respectively.
Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East, Napping Princess) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, Harlock: Space Pirate, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars) are returning to direct the final anime season. Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East, Napping Princess) and Sola Digital Arts (Appleseed Alpha, Starship Troopers: Invasion, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars) are again producing the anime in 3D CG. Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi are returning to compose the music.
Netflix describes the anime’s story:
Several years have passed since the events of Ultraman, with the legendary “Giant of Light” (光の巨人 Hikari no Kyojin) now a memory, as it is believed he returned home after fighting the many giant aliens that invaded the Earth. Shin Hayata’s son Shinjiro seems to possess a strange ability, and it is this ability, along with his father’s revelation that he was Ultraman, that leads Shinjiro to battle the new aliens invading the Earth as the new Ultraman.
Kamiyama, Aramaki, Production I.G, and Sola Digital Arts returned from the first season for the second one.
Tatsuhisa Suzuki was slated to play the new Ultraman character Kōtarō Higashi/Ultraman Taro in the second season, but he offered to step down from the role, due to his hiatus from “all entertainment industry activities” last year. Tomoaki Maeno is voicing the character instead. Suzuki performed the opening theme songs for the first season as a member of OLDCODEX.

Manga starts online serialization on April 6

The 17th issue of Akita Shoten‘s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine announced on Thursday that Yu Muraoka‘s “Ippon” Again! (Mō Ippon!) manga will move its serialization online to Akita Shoten‘s Manga Cross website, starting on April 6. The manga will publish new chapters every Thursday.
Muraoka launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in October 2018. Akita Shoten published the manga’s 22nd compiled book volume on February 8, and it will publish the 23rd volume on April 7.
The manga follows Michi Sonoda, who had planned to quit judo after her final tournament in junior high. However, her best friend Sanae Takigawa invites her to continue judo in high school.
The manga inspired a television anime adaptation, which premiered on January 8. HIDIVE streams the anime as it airs in Japan.
