Manga’s last published chapter in 2021

The 114th volume of Hakusensha‘s Love Jossie digital manga magazine published last Sunday the 24th chapter of Mai Nishikata‘s GAME: Between the Suits (Game – Suit no Sukima) manga, signaling its return after a nearly two-year hiatus. The magazine published the manga’s 23rd chapter in May 2021.
Nishikata launched the manga in Love Jossie in 2015. Hakusensha published the manga’s fourth compiled book volume in April 2018.
Seven Seas licensed the manga under its Steamship imprint, and will publish the third volume in English on April 4. Seven Seas describes the story:
Fujii Sayo has worked hard to climb the ranks at her firm, and she won’t let anything stand in her way–even if it costs her lover after lover. Enter her new colleague: Kiriyama Ryouichi. He’s obedient enough in the boardroom, but in private, he’s challenging and flirtatious–he wants her and he isn’t afraid to show it. After falling into bed with him once and insisting it won’t happen again, Ryouichi has an assertion of his own: she’ll give in. The two agree to an affair that will only last until Sayo finds someone more suitable to her station and temperament, but Ryouichi is confident he’ll win against any other man. Thus begins a sizzling game of push and pull that will set their office alight!
Nishikata’s Venus Capriccio manga launched in Hakusensha‘s Hana to Yume magazine in 2005. Hakusensha published the manga’s fifth and final volume in 2008. The now-defunct CMX Manga published the manga in English.

Disney Senior Dubbing Manager: Heavenly Delusion Anime to Get Simulcast in U.S.

Disney’s senior manager of English dubbing Reuben Lack stated on Twitter on Monday that the television anime adaptation of Masakazu Ishiguro‘s Heavenly Delusion (Tengoku Dai Makyō) manga will get a simulcast in the U.S. The anime will stream on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ worldwide. Lack added that the anime will get an English dub at a later date.
The anime will stream exclusively on Disney+ worldwide on April 1, and will air in Japan on Tokyo MX, Hokkaido TV, RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, TV Aichi, MBS, and BS11.
The anime stars:
Hirotaka Mori (episode director for Joker Game, unit director for Psycho-Pass film) is directing the anime at Production I.G. Makoto Fukami (Psycho-Pass, School-Live!) is overseeing the series scripts, and Utsushita of Minakata Laboratory is the character designer. kensuke ushio (Space Dandy, A Silent Voice, Chainsaw Man) is composing the music.
BiSH is performing the opening theme song “innocent arrogance,” and ASOBI is performing the ending theme song “Daremo Karemo Dokomo Nanimo Shiranai” (I Don’t Know Anyone Anywhere Anything).
Denpa is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:
Within the safety of the walls, youths are raised in a nursery-style setting by robots. While life there may appear stale on the surface, the children are full of potential and curiosity. In many ways it is like a slice of heaven. The outside world is a hell-scape. It is almost entirely void of anything mechanical and is now inhabited by bizarre, yet powerful super-natural beings.
Maru, with the aid of Kiruko, is out there crisscrossing what was once Tokyo for heaven. But after searching for so long, maybe heaven is more of an untenable dream than a potential reality.
Ishiguro (And Yet the Town Moves) launched the ongoing manga in Kodansha‘s Afternoon magazine in January 2018. The manga had an animated promotional video to commemorate the first volume’s release in July 2018. The manga topped the list of manga for male readers in the 2019 edition of Takarajimasha‘s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook.

Azuki announced on Tuesday that it will digitally publish NAZ and Masato Fujisaki‘s Gloomy Bear: Apocalyptic Love manga based on Mori Chack’s Gloomy Bear character in English on April 4. The one-shot manga will be available on Azuki‘s website as well as on its iOS and Android applications.
Azuki describes the manga’s story:
A young man and woman have kept keychains as mementos of each other, even after they drifted apart. But one day, when they find themselves under attack by zombies, the keychains come to life to protect them! Can Gloomy Bear and All-Purpose Bunny defeat the zombies and bring the two back together?
Mori Chack created the Gloomy Bear character in 2000. The illustrator also created characters such as Podolly and Kumakikai.
The Itazura Guma no Gloomy (Gloomy the Naughty Grizzly) television anime series premiered in April 2021. The anime celebrated the 20th anniversary of the character. Mori had released a “trial” animated short for the character in 2014.
